TTC Taking Precautions to Keep Riders Safe
As we prepare to welcome back students who need to complete hands-on learning to graduate in summer 2020, we recognize that students and staff who must take public transit to our campuses may feel apprehensive about boarding subway trains and buses.
Rest assured, the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) has undertaken significant strides to provide safe spaces and vehicles. In fact, the TTC looks a lot different today.
This pdf document, TTC COVID-19 Response, outlines a number of measures undertaken to keep customers safe, i.e., vehicle and station disinfection, hand sanitizers at all subway stations, payment by Presto card only, extra buses on key routes, and more. The document also contains links to Frequently Asked Questions, Coronavirus updates and more.
Please note: While transit riders are currently urged to wear a face covering, the TTC has announced that masks will become mandatory as of Thursday, July 2.
